Two private rooms Fire and ice

Contrast Forge.

Train your nervous system.

Alternating heat and cold — traditional Finnish sauna into a cold-water plunge, at your own pace, in a room that's yours alone. Vasoconstriction in the cold, vasodilation on exit. Repeat the cycle and the body learns to handle the swing. That adaptation is the whole product.

Circulation boost

Heat opens the vessels; cold snaps them shut. The pump is the point.

Inflammation control

Cold immersion reduces inflammation and accelerates tissue repair.

Faster recovery

Contrast cycles flush what training leaves behind.

Mental resilience

Cold tolerance is trained, not given. The discipline carries over.

True Finnish löyly

Nordic spruce, Harvia electric heater, steam over hot stones.

100% private

Your room, your pace, up to four guests.

Each room pairs an Almost Heaven Auburn traditional Finnish sauna — Nordic spruce, Harvia heater, real löyly over hot stones — with a Plunge All-In cold plunge running integrated chilling and filtration. Sweat it out, plunge it off, repeat. Traditional sauna only; all infrared and salt live in the Recovery Den.

Pricing & packages

Before You Forge.

What is contrast therapy?
Alternating between sauna heat and a cold-water plunge for relaxation, alertness, and exercise recovery.
Is it safe for everyone?
No. People with heart conditions, blood-pressure problems, poor circulation, diabetes, pregnancy, fainting, or seizure history should get medical clearance first.
When should I skip a session?
Skip it if you are sick, dehydrated, dizzy, unusually weak, or have consumed alcohol.
What should I bring?
Bring a swimsuit, water bottle, sandals, two towels, and warm, dry clothing.
How long should I stay in the sauna?
Start with 5–8 minutes. Leave immediately if you feel dizzy, nauseated, weak, or uncomfortable.
How cold is the plunge?
Beginners should start around 50–59°F. Colder water is not automatically better.
How long should I stay in the cold?
Begin with 30–60 seconds. One or two minutes is plenty for a new participant. Enter slowly, keep your head above water, and focus on slow exhales.
How many rounds should I do?
One round is enough for your first session. More is not necessarily better. Afterward: dry off, dress warmly, drink water, and rest.
